You need to slay the beast and conquer any notion of fear you have in your mind if you are going to accomplish what you have set out to do. Half stepping is usually the the thing that’s going to leave you crumpled in a heap on the floor. Skateboarding big stuff, what a bastard.

Facing your fear for the thrill of skateboarding pretty much starts with the first foot you place on a skateboard, like a junkie chasing the next hit always seeking the thrill of the next bail only to manage a half arsed roll down the street. It’s a funny old obsession to old bones but it never gets boring, the challenge is always there seeking you out like a concrete monolith with teeth and bloody elbows. So all hail the wood and the wheel and go rock your skulls.
